I’ve been doing alot of work on the school virtual learning network providing resources and lessons for my GCSE Photography students both in class and at home. Came across Coventry Uni’s #Phonar course. Looks like a really good program, along with the students enrolled on the course, distance learners can join in for free and share the online materials through the website, twitter and an iphone app. Quite an inspiration as I’ve also been looking into more ways of sharing my own materials with my students and in future our wider community such as teacher and parents wanting to make a start in photography.
Think I’ll give the #Phonar course a go, I’ll start week 1 in Jan as a new year project and I’ll post results here.

Great news Jon,let me know if there’s anything I can do. Don’t know what I’ll be teaching in the new year but if you use the #phonar hashtag then you’ve a good chance of connecting with others. Be great to hear of you adapting it for your GCSE students, I’m interested in that. Cheers, Jonathan (I wrote phonar and picbod)
Thanks for the comment Jonathan, I’ll keep connected.
